“After viewing numerous bulls this past season Kruse was the best example of the Angus breed I’ve seen in some time,” Mr Battistuzzi said.
He was impressed with the bull’s impeccable structure, conformation and the backing of his strong pedigree which has BT Right Time 24J, Booroomooka Theo and Crusader of Stern all in his immediate ancestry. He considered the bull well worth going the extra dollars, outbidding several other studs.
“The bull will be a very worthy investment for the company and our bull clients in years to come,” he said.
“He has great calving ease of 2.5 and moderate growth out to 110 for 600 day, his maternal traits and pedigree are spot on for what we want to do to improve our female herd, and the herds of our clients.”
