With the centenary of Armistice approaching on November 11, the Tenterfield RSL Sub-branch and the ANZAC Centenary Steering Committee are mounting a replica tunnel system in Tenterfield Memorial Hall to impart of small taste of a WW1 soldier’s life.

Sub-branch president Dave Stewart said there will also be a display of WW1 memorabilia.
If any local families who would like to lend mementos of their WW1 ancestors for secure display are encouraged to contact either Mr Stewart on 0407 398 444 or committee president Peter Reid on 0407 031 065.
The display will be open to the public from Thursday, November 8 to Tuesday, November 13 from 10am to 4pm each day.
