Help in that regard was offered by Hunter, New England and Central Coast Primary Health Network (HNECC PHN) with a grant-writing workshop run last week in the dining room at the Showground.
It focused particularly on preparing applications for funding of up to $50,000 to ease the burden caused by the drought. Seventeen people took advantage of the opportunity, from a variety of organisations.
