Livestock agents George and Fuhrmann yarded 513 head for its ninth annual bullock and steer show and sale held under COVID restrictions at the Warwick Saleyards on Thursday.

Judges Duanne Woodham from Stanbroke Beef and Scott Lloyd of LLoyd Pastoral, Wieambilla Feedlot, Chinchilla, sorted through the pens to find their champions.
The champion pen of steers were awarded to Mark and David Gasparin, Kiara Downs, Tenterfield for their pen of Limousin steers in the 612 kilogram and over weight range.
These steers which weighed 642kg sold 386c/kg to return $2478/head.
Wickham Cattle Co, Killarney, exhibited the reserve champion pen of steers with a pen of Angus bullocks who weighed 639kg and sold for 375c/kg to return $2396.
The champion pen of feeder steers were exhibited by the Benn family, Eastlynne Partnership, Dalveen
These Charolais steers, with a weight of 469kg sold for 395c/kg to return $1852/head.
Overall the sale topped with a pen of Angus steers consigned by Kingsford Farms Family Trust, Warwick, to return $2550. These steers had earlier been placed second in the same class, and were judged against the that the champion pen of steers.
The entire run of cattle averaged $1808, and were all drawn from the local area.
Both judges agreed it was a magnificent line-up of cattle exhibited.
"The competition was very tough due to the quality here," Scott Lloyd said.
"The champion pen were fed at Freestone Feedlot, and had great weight gain, and confirmation," he said.
