The Bolivia Hill realignment project on the New England Highway south of Tenterfield will receive another $43 million in federal funding to meet delivery commitments, despite a number of required design and delivery challenges.

The project had been impacted by drought and bushfire but passersby continue to witness the new bridge continue to reach over the valley chasm, to eventually extend 320 metres.
The new funding is in addition to $55 million already delivered for the project and forms part of a $2.7 billion investment by the Australian Government as part of its COVID-19 economic recovery plan for transport infrastructure projects across NSW.
Total funding for Bolivia Hill project is now $133.7 million which includes $98 million from the Australian Government and $35.7 million from the NSW Government.
