The walk is being organised by the community interest group TenterLIFE and officials said the event will be about mental and physical health and wellbeing.
Another critical aspect will be connecting communities and for a bit of fun.
Everyone is welcome and all those interested are encouraged to join in on Sunday for a free t shirt, have a walk n talk with old or new friends, enjoy the free sausage sizzle after and stay for the book launch of Doing what Matters in Times of Stress: an Illustrated Guide.
The walk follows successful workshops dubbed Touchpoints which TenterLIFE were a part of.
Lucy Faithfull of Roses in the Ocean facilitated the workshops with the most recent one held at the Golf Club on November 26.
Roses in the Ocean collaborates with individuals and organisations across community, corporate, health and government sectors to effectively and meaningfully engage lived experience of suicide expertise with all aspects of suicide prevention.
Participants learned how to recognise warning sides of someone having suicidal thoughts and how to address that as an opportunity to connect and perhaps change someone's path.
The Walk n Talk For Life event will start at 9.30am in Jubilee Park.
Organisers will be holding book give-aways as part of the day. Call Lifeline on 13 11 14 If you are having a hard time or need to seek help for a friend or loved one.
