The Bees travelled east for the round four game and were outpaced 34-19.
“There was only a couple of tries in it, they scored a couple out wide,” coach Phil Jones said.
“We dominated in the forwards pretty well but they were just a bit slicker in the backs.
“Defence had been our strength but we left it out the window on Saturday against Yamba.

“I don't think our mind was on defence but we will tighten up on that this week and then come out and make the tackles hopefully.”
The Bees are back at Federation Park this Saturday to take on Iluka.
“I imagine they will throw the ball about a bit,” Jones said.
“We just have to tighten up in our defence, particularly in our backline but I think we will match them in the forwards pretty well.”
Yamba coach Scott Moore said it was a tough game for his side against an unknown outfit in the Bees.
“We didn’t know what to expect and they really took it to us for the whole game,” he said.
“It’s great having them in the comp and we looking forward to our next game against them.
“We expect a really hard game of footy when we travel to Tenterfield in August.”
