Another Hay Day will be held at the Tenterfield Showground this Thursday, September 6 from 7.30 am for rural producers who have so far missed out on receiving a free bale of hay.
Mayor Peter Petty has secured another 20 large round bales of Rhodes grass, along with a supply of small bales. As before, the Salvation Army will also be providing each farmer with a dry lick block, and will be providing a hot breakfast on the day along with emotional and practical support.

A number of bales have been set aside for those who missed out in the first allocations but left their names. A tractor will be available to assist with loading.
“Again, I thank the Lismore community for their generosity in donating this hay and Gary and Tracy Hawkins for supplying the transport to get it to Tenterfield, together with all those who are assisting our community in any way at this difficult time,” Cr Petty said.
Joel Soper at the Salvation Army is available on 0410 693 593 for anyone who needs to reach out for assistance.
