Much-needed rain led to a shorter grand final day for Tenterfield Junior Soccer Club, before players and helpers retreated undercover for the end-of-season presentations.
Member for Lismore Thomas George took a break from the Peter Allen Festival to present some of the young players with certificates commemorating their participation in the club’s 50th anniversary year.
Celebrations concluded with a ceremonial cutting of the club’s birthday cake before the spoils were shared around, and people headed up to Peter Allen Boulevard for festival events.
