Blackmail, sabotage and love collide onstage in the latest production by the Tenterfield Amateur Dramatic Group now showing at the Tenterfield School of Arts.
It all happens during the fictitious New England Drama Competition. Playwright Terry Powell, who also appears on stage, was inspired by the movie I, Tonya charting the effort by Tonya Harding’s mother (played brilliantly by Allison Janney) to ensure her daughter’s success on the ice skating rink, with devastating results.

“It’s about a couple of pushy mothers who will do anything for their daughters to win, including sabotaging each other,” the group’s Stephanie Taylor said.
There are just two more performances of All About Me to go, on Wednesday, September 19 and Friday, September 21, both sessions from 7pm. Tickets are $15 (table or tier seating) and meals can be booked at Courtyard Cafe. A bar will be operating.
