How to let Tenterfield know about your event
The Tenterfield Star is working to deliver an improved community diary for our readers.

If you are having an event such as a fete, fund-raising day, meeting etc, or have a regular activity you would like to let people know about, there is a very easy way to let Tenterfield know about it.
Contributions to our new Community Diary section can be sent from your phone or any other device through our website, www.tenterfieldstar.com.au.
Simply go to the website and click on the “Community” link at the top of the page. This will take you to a page where you can click “Send us your news”. Once this has opened, you can select what type of news you would like to contribute to the paper, whether it is sports news or an event for our community diary.
If you are having an event, click on “So you're holding an event? Share it with the community”. This will open a very simple form where you can list the name of your organisation, the event title, time, date and venue, a description of your event, and cost and contact details.
If you already have that information typed elsewhere, you can cut and paste directly into the form.
Once you have finished, simply click “submit”, and details of your community event will be on their way to our team to include in the Tenterfield Star Community Diary.
Information will be used to build a comprehensive diary of events in the Tenterfield region to give people all the details they need about events and meetings that are happening near them.
The “Send us your news” page also includes links for people who have recently had a baby, got married or who have a story to tell to submit photos and details to the paper.
Don’t forget three easy steps: 1. Go to www.tenterfieldstar.com.au; 2. Go to community and then “send us your news”; 3. Fill in and submit the form.
