On January 3, 1959, two sisters, Norma and Loretta from Tenterfield’s Petrie family walked down the aisle of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour Catholic Church to marry Brian Warham and John Vickery in a double wedding.

Sixty years later, their 25 children and grandchildren joined with family, friends and fellow parishioners to celebrate the longevity and fruitfulness of this partnership.
John and Loretta Vickery would travel and work in the UK, the USA, Canberra and Sydney, while also having four children - Louise, Joanne, Laurence and Susan Vickery.
Norma and Brian Warham would travel and work in Taree, Foster, Moree and Richmond before returning to the family farm house near Steinbrook that Loretta and Norma Petrie had grown up in with their parents Lawrie and Rose Petrie and nine other siblings.
Lawrie and Rose Petrie (née Jay) are from long-standing Tenterfield families (Petrie, Koch and Larracy).
Norma and Brian had five children - Bernard, Paul, Juanita, Geoff and Bronwyn. Bernard, Juanita and Bronwyn have also returned to live in Tenterfield with their families.
