The Country Women's Association CWA) Tenterfield - Evening Branch has distributed more than $15,000 to farm families in the Tenterfield area over recent weeks as part of their drought relief effort.

Tenterfield CWA members have been overwhelmed by generous offers of help and donations of cash and water.
Donations came from a wide area. Zentvelds Coffee, Bangalow, donated all the proceeds of their mobile coffee cart for the month of December. Zentvelds supply to the Corner Café.

The largest donation received was $10,000 from Aristocrat Technologies Social Club, North Ryde.
Other donations came from the Commonwealth Bank, Mount View Village at Murwillumbah, and many members of the public.
Local rural agents Alford and Duff, Ray White, and Harold Curry donated "Why Leave Town" gift vouchers to 150 farmers.
Many small donations will help those in need.
