The Community Building Partnership was established in 2009 and provides funding for community groups and local councils to upgrade their infrastructure. Since 2009 it has provided more than $334 million for around 15,000 projects across NSW.
Two Tenterfield projects were funded in the latest round: $11,346 for Tenterfield and District Community FM Radio Association to replace essential community broadcasting equipment, and $20,000 for council to install a covered area at the pool.

More than $133 million worth of applications have been received for the program this year, however only $28 million of funding is available.
Ms Saffin had earlier suggested the $300,000 per electorate funding allocation be lifted to $600,000 or even $1 million.
With a record number of applications soon to be assessed, she believes this would be a very practical way of supporting more community groups' projects across her electorate.
She is joined by MP Sophie Cotsis and Shadow Minister for Seniors and Cost of Living Jo Haylen in urging the government to use increased CBP funding to provide a much needed boost for community groups during the pandemic.
