There are a lot more twinking shop windows to set the Christmas ambiance, and Tenterfield Shire Council CEO Terry Dodds had the hard task of picking the Wrap Tenterfield in Tinsel winners.
Herbie and Bella was named the winner, with Sherelle’s in second place. Mr Dodds couldn’t split the next two, with CM Country Outfitters and Flanagans named equal third.
Students from St Joseph’s Primary School filled the CBD with Christmas carols before Santa mixed and mingled with his handy elf distributing lollies to the children. Buskers along Rouse St kept shoppers entertained as they checked out the offerings.
As night descended and the lights came on in Bruxner Park and in shop windows, it was beginning to feel a lot like Christmas.
