Sir Henry Parkes School, Tenterfield competes with Emmavile and Glen Innes

Tenterfield put up a strong showing in the Northern New England Public School Sports Association swimming carnival at the public pool in the town on Friday.

In the end, Glen Innes Public School took the Warwick Trigg Shield for the best overall performance in the competition – but Tenterfield did well in individual events.

In each event, the first two go through to the regional events in Armidale on March 5 and the winners from ther ego on to the state finals in Sydney on April 11 and 12.
