The Readings’ garden at 246 Bulwer St is open on Sunday, February 25 from 9am to 5pm with a $2 entry fee. Monies raised are being donated to local charities.
The society’s Shirley Lewis said the Readings have a beautiful garden surrounding their magnificent house, featuring a a long sweeping drive, a fountain, and many beautiful trees.
In addition to shows of in-season flowers visitors can also check out the impressive vegetable garden.
“It’s truly a labour of love, and well worth seeing,” Mrs Lewis said.
