Live theatre opportunity to appeal to the younger brigade

Did you know the definition of hootengranny is ‘when nans have a good time’?

At least it is according to Ickypedia, the creation of comedy duo The Listies who are bringing their antics to the Tenterfield Cinema on Wednesday, May 2 at 11am.

The colourful award-winning show is very much aimed at kids and their love of anything related to bodily functions and ‘messy’ humour, but the reviews indicate that the adults will have a good laugh as well.

"Nobody else does comedy for kids this brilliantly, but what's more astounding is that adults have just as much fun,” the Sydney Morning Herald said.

“The Listies occupy a dimension all of their own."

This is a good opportunity for children to have a great experience close to home with an event that will appeal to them, and hopefully instill a love of live theatre.

Bookings can be made at trybooking.com or call the cinema on (02) 6736 6100. Adults are $10 and under-18s are $7.
