This year the theme for NAIDOC Week is Because of Her We Can, and on Monday Wallangarra State School had a very successful day with many visitors to the school working in rotations with all the children.

They participated in literacy and fine motor activities, indigenous sports, badge making, face painting, art and craft on women, flags and didgeridoos.

The school expressed its appreciation to all the wonderful presenters who travelled and gave of their time for the students, and also donated books, thongs, balls, keyrings and more.

Students enjoyed finger painting with Denise and Joanne from Bushkids.
