The playground was erected by Southern Downs Regional Council in response to community calls to provide more facilities for children at public meetings following the closure of the Wallangarra Meatworks and its effect on the small town.
The school said the playground is a great addition to the town and Boston Park, and the students really enjoyed their time there.
It thanked SDRC for erecting the playground for the benefit of all local children.
Southern Downs mayor Tracy Dobie, councillors and community members gathered back in April to formally open the $150,000 playground, funded by the Southern Downs council.
The new multi-level playground includes swing sets, climbing nets and a suspension bridge.
