At the beginning of term 3, St Joseph’s School Tenterfield welcomed Josh Harkin and Nicholas Kartsiotis.
Mr Harkin and Mr Kartsiotis (“Mr K”) have escaped the city as fourth-year prac students from the University of Notre Dame in Sydney.
They have been enjoying their tree change and gaining teaching experience at St Joseph’s Tenterfield.
Mr Harkin has been teaching Stage 3 and Mr Kartsiotis Stage 2. Mr Harkin said his time at St Joseph’s had been “amazing” so far, while “Mr K” said he had learnt the skill of really listening to his students.
