Paul is a regular buyer of Cydectin drench for the 300 breeders he manages on 'Knockdon', but from January to June he received an entry in the bike giveaway for each $500 purchase, as did all customers of the Wilshire & Co group.
While the giveaway didn't influence his purchase decision Paul said the win was a nice bonus, and a big surprise when Virbac SEQ livestock sales manager Jess McGrath phoned him with the news.
He said he's more accustomed to riding four-wheelers around the property, so Wilshire & Co principal Todd Wilshire suggested some training wheels. The kickstand may be superfluous.
"I'll just lean it against a tree," Paul said.

The promotion was one of three registerable Honda XR 190GT bikes that Virbac gave away, in conjunction with selected suppliers.
"Thanks to our relationship with Virbac, being a volume buyer we were fortunate to have the opportunity to partner up on the promotion," Todd said.
He said it proved popular with around 2500 entries received for the Wilshire bike.
"It created a lot of interest in the Virbac range.
"Given the trying conditions over the past 18 months, anything that benefits the animal creates better value for the farmer."
Jess said that backs up the company motto of 'Cydectin through thick and thin.'
All three draws, including the Wilshire & Co. one, were conducted at Virbac's Sydney headquarters so the outcome was a surprise for all.
"We're happy to see the bike go to a local producer, and a deserving winner," Todd said.
