Tenterfield Men's Shed continues to go from strength to strength, culminating in a well-attended AGM recently where Rex Holley was returned as president. He'll be supported by Peter Reid as treasurer and Anne Stackman as secretary.

Many of the 35 members who participated in the AGM stayed on for the official Christmas party. The Tenterfield version of the national organisation is noted for its inclusiveness, with the membership featuring more than a few women in its ranks.
Mr Holley said two of its female members travel from Glen Innes and more from a bit closer to home, with a new couple from Jennings just recently signed up.

He feels the group has done very well of late, celebrating its new shed and expanding the range of tools and equipment made available to members.
This will be further expanded with a $5000 grant from the Mens Shed Association which will go towards a new lathe and other equipment.
The Men's Shed now has a commercial presence, represented at Make It Tenterfield above Mitre 10. Members also sell products directly, including bird nest boxes, chopping boards and other timber products.
After the COVID disruption Mr Holley is looking forward to getting back into a regular routine after the Christmas break.
