The early deadline is designed to prevent the crowding that has occurred at previous shows, when pavilion entries are accepted the day before the show.
With COVID-19 restrictions in mind, the deadlines have been moved to allow staggered set up and judging times in the pavilion.

Entries can be delivered to the Tenterfield Show secretary's office under the grandstand on any day this week, between 10am and 4pm on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, and 10am and 5pm on Thursday and Friday.
Entrants are being asked not to wait until the last moment to drop off their entries, to avoid crowding and delays.
As the Tenterfield Show will be held on one day only, on Saturday February 6, acceptance times for some other sections have also changed.
Local entrants can bring their floriculture entries to the Floriculture Pavilion from 9am to 12 noon on Friday, February 5. Visiting exhibitors should deliver their entries by noon Friday, 5 February.
Farm Produce has been reinstated to the 2021 Tenterfield Show Schedule to take advantage of the favourable season and bumper crops on local farms and gardens.
Farm produce can be brought to the main pavilion on Friday, 5 February, between 8.30am and 1pm.
Exhibitors and competitors in all sections are asked to check event times and entry deadlines as these may have changed as a result of coronavirus restrictions and the change to a one-day program. Schedules and entry forms are available online at www.tenterfieldshow.org.au
Advance entries are also being accepted for the demolition derby, motorbike barrel race, junior whip cracking and farmer's challenge.
