The long weekend over Easter brought plenty of people to town as well as a sense of excitement, and even the weather was perfect for the occasion.
As vice president of the festival committee, Kim Rhodes, put it: "Everything worked in our favour."
She said events such as the high tea and long lunch both sold out, with capacity crowds attending, while the markets that were held on Sunday went 90 minutes longer than planned.
"There were still people about, so it kept going," Kim said.
She said thanks had to go to all the sponsors of the event, and the hard working volunteers, and the local groups who helped make it all happen.
"We cannot run with sponsors, and we are very, very grateful to all the sponsors who jumped on board," Kim said.
Among the local community groups to assist were the CWA, Lions, Rotary, the transport museum and Make It Tenterfield.
