It’s pretty unlikely that they are anything like Trish Scrivener’s award winning boy.
Ms Scrivener breeds cats under the Bonnybrooke moniker, the same as her family’s Walcha-based Angus stud.
She hit the big-time at this year’s Sydney Royal Easter Show taking out supreme exhibit with an American Shorthair ‘Rocky’.
“We took our stunning boy Ozki Rocky Road, our home bred girl Bonnybrooke Florida Keys ‘Floki’ and our spoilt desexed pet Bonnybrooke Denny Denver ‘Denny’ to the Open Championship Cat Show,” Ms Scrivener said.
Rocky was awarded best in breed in all rings, best entire cat, best group 3 and then went on to win the most prestigious award of the show – supreme exhibit.
She said American Shorthairs come in 84 different recognised colours and patterns but she specialises in the black silver classic tabby like Rocky. “They love to play but are not overly demanding,” she said.
